Just a while ago, we were celebrating Chinese New Year and soon we’ll be preparing for yet another celebration; Ramadhan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Everybody knows that each year, nearing this festive season, Geylang is the highlight of the day. With newly opened malls just last year, one can only imagine the size of the crowd this year. It is widely known that the Malay community is always buzzing in Geylang area in search of their traditional costumes, decorative lightings, kuih-muih & keropok and many more during this holy month.
Like any other year, the bazaar will be just as huge and happening as always. Places of interests include – Paya Lebar Square, Tanjong Katong Complex, City Plaza, One KM Mall, Haig Road Market & Food Centre, Geylang Serai Market and Joo Chiat Complex. The famous Geylang Bazaar itself covers the whole of this entire area - one day is never enough to cover all of the stalls.
Nearest to Tristar Complex is the food bazaar – the most ideal place to catch the biggest crowd especially from 5pm – 7pm. From this area also, you will have a clear view of our billboard, as seen below. The festive season is one of the best opportunities to catch the biggest crowds.
