Accidents do happen but they are not unavoidable. There are rules and regulations to every installation of structures and banners, and this is why TPM Outdoor is very strict in taking safety measures on site.
In another article, it is said that the condition of the bridge was strong. The main reason behind the fall was more of a natural disaster.
Quote from article; “The condition of the bridge is very strong,” said 49-year-old Mamat, a security officer who was there when the incident happened. “Physically there is nothing wrong. The proof is that it wasn’t the whole bridge that collapsed, it was the side fencing.” Read more.
It is still uncertain of whether overhead bridge advertising is confirmed banned in Jakarta. This may be bad news to some, but it is not worth it when lives are being put at risk. Our deepest condolences to those who lost their loved ones.
